1. Name one book that you’d highly recommend?
While I’m not an avid reader myself, a book that I read during my school and continue to refer to now is Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Recommended read at any time!
2. What technology do you think is out of this world?
Couple of technologies are out of this world but I’d love to see them become a norm soon: aerospace technology that colonises space and deep learning avatar tech. I’m already thinking of vacationing in space and WFH from other planets. Moreover, I’d love to have a Super Jarvis as my AI assistant avatar because I can be too lazy at times!
3. What is the scariest thing you’ve ever done?
Jumping off a plane 15k feet high. Yes, skydiving! And then scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef. Scary but my most exhilarating experience in a day!
4. What is your guilty pleasure?
Hoarding and overeating chocolates! And Moscato, any day!
5. If you could run any of the big tech firms (Amazon, Apple, Google etc.) which would you choose and why?
Apple. To dig deep into value creation through their differentiated competitive advantage. But given a chance, I would love to rotate across all top-5 tech firms from an international business strategy perspective.
6. What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Fail fast but fail differently!
7. Wackiest business idea you’ve had?
Let’s talk!! We’ll discuss the ideas in my idea book, then you tell me what’s wacky. Hit me up on LinkedIn!
